Four years a ago I graduated from Freelance Animation School in Auckland. For my diploma project I set out to bring a bunch of dinosaurs to life and maybe even tie it together with a story. The rough idea was that a pair of carnivores were awoken by a noisy herbivore. One gets up, and unbeknown to the audience, the second one follows closely behind. It was meant to end tidily with the second bursting out of a dust cloud while the main one distracts the target. It was messy, unfinished, but I got my 50+ seconds of finished animation.
